Welcome to your Utility Bill Payment Intake Appointment Scheduler

Macon-Russell Community Action Agency seeks to reduce poverty and help low-income citizens of Macon and Russell County to meet critical needs and become self-sufficient.

The utility bill payment intake meetings by appointment will be conducted at the following locations:

  • Macon County - 501 S. School Street Tuskegee, AL 36083
  • Russell County - 1113 2nd Place Phenix City, AL 36867

Within minutes of making your appointment, you should receive a confirmation email with a calendar appointment attached to the email. In addition, you will also receive a phone reminder the day before your appointment.

Once you schedule your appointment, pick up an Application Packet from our office. Please complete the application packet and return the completed application to the office's drop-box. Applications must be returned 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment.

Please note that appointments do not guarantee assistance. This program is based on Fund availability.

Below is list of documents needed for Utility Assistance:

  • Valid picture ID
  • Social Security Cards for everyone in the household
  • Total Household income for the previous month

For Rental Assistance Appointments, the following additional information is needed

  • Rental/Lease Agreement
  • Eviction Notice
  • Landlord Contact Information

Appointments can be changed or canceled at any time on this website. You can also make or cancel an appointment at any time (24/7) using our automated phone system by dialing (334) 439-4009 or (334) 408-4066 and following the instructions.
